Stranded Mining Cable

The MGTSV fiber optic cable is constructed by inserting a 250 μm fiber into a loose tube made of a high modulus material filled with a water-repellent compound. The center of the core is a metal reinforced core. For some cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is required to be extruded outside the metal reinforced core. The loose tube (and the filling rope) is twisted around the center reinforcing core into a compact and round core, and the gap in the core is filled with a water blocking filler. Double-coated plastic strip (PSP) is longitudinally packed and extruded into a PE inner sheath and then extruded into a layer of PVC outer sheath to form a cable.

The MGTSV fiber optic cable complies with the YD/T 901 and MT386 standards.

Standards

· MGTSV cable complies with Standard MT386-1995 test method and decision rule of the flame retardant of the cable used in coal mine.
