The fibers are arranged within a loose tube manufactured from substantial modulus plastic. Water resistant stuffing compound is utilized to fill the tubes. As an added strength member, a layer in aramid yarn is applied round the core of the cable connection. The cable is then covered with a black or colors HDPE sheath.
