The construction procedures of general optical cable lines are mainly divided into five stages: preparation, laying, connection, testing and completion acceptance.
① Single-reel inspection of optical cable: check the appearance of the optical cable, the relevant characteristics of the optical fiber and the signal line, etc.
② Routing re-test: According to the construction design drawing, review the specific direction of the routing, laying conditions, environmental conditions and the specific location of the joint, ground distance, distribution, distribution, etc.
③ Optical cable distribution: It is to calculate the total laying length according to the retest route and reasonably select the optical cable reel length.
4. Routing preparation: Pipe cleaning, pre-laying iron wires or pre-laying plastic conduits before laying optical cables, pre-laying steel wire ropes and hooks before overhead laying, excavation of optical cable trenches before direct burial laying, setting of joint pits, etc. It will facilitate the smooth progress of the project and the safe laying of optical cables.
⑤ Optical cable laying: According to the laying method, hang the single-disk optical cable rack on the pole or pull it into the pipe, or put it into the optical cable trench.
⑥ Optical fiber cable connection installation: including optical fiber connection, copper wire, aluminum sheath, connection of strengthening core, and measurement of joint loss. The encapsulation of the joint sleeve and the support of the joint protection, etc.
⑦ Relay measurement: including optical fiber characteristics (such as total attenuation of optical fiber, etc.) test and copper wire electrical performance test, etc.
⑧ Completion acceptance of optical cables: Provide technical data such as construction drawings, revised routing diagrams and measurement data, and do a good job of on-site inspection and completion acceptance, so as to provide qualified optical fiber lines and ensure the commissioning of the system.
