This fiber is the standard for transmissions across the entire wavelength range from 1,260 nm to 1,625 nm. Thanks to its reliably low long-term attenuation at 1,383 nm (Low Water Peak), the fiber not only supports applications at the conventional 1,310 nm and 1,550 nm wavelengths, but also in the broadband range (CWDM, DWDM). This fiber is the ideal choice when cost optimization needs to be matched to maximum flexibility in fiber-optic networks.

G652.D Standard Singlemode Fibers and Cables

ITU-T G652.D single-mode fibers are widely used in a broad range of networking and communication applications. It is the latest version available in the G652 category and supports coarse WDM (CWDM) transmission. This specification is generally considered as the de-facto standard for single-mode fiber.

This fiber category provides a zero dispersion at 1310 nm wavelength. Thus, it is designed to deliver optimum performance in the 1310 nm band. however, it is possible to operate G652.D single-mode fiber cables at 1510 nm. The G652.D can be used in both short-haul and long-haul applications.

The only shortcoming of the G657D fibers is their inability to sustaining higher bending radii. Even the finest built G657D optical fiber cables do not allow steep bends. Consequently, more cable is required to avoid bends during deployment, resulting in higher overall costs.

Packing & Storage:

Ensure no foreign matte on the reel and fiber surface,wrap it with film and cover,and label fiber coding on the reel and cover respectively.

The packaged optical fiber is stored at a constant temperature of 25℃ in a light-proof warehouse . The products are fixed in the carton when they are shipped out of the warehouse. The carton number and fiber coding information are attached to the carton, and the electronic test report is attached to each shipment.

The standard length of the fiber optic outlet section is 25.2KM, 50.4KM, with a 1x20ft container quantity of 60480KM and a 1x40FT container quantity of 120960KM.
