After the cutover application report is approved, the preparation before cutover is particularly important. We should make full preparations before cutover, mainly in the following aspects.
1) Collect and sort out the original data of the route.
2) Be familiar with the performance of the transmission equipment in use, and record the performance parameters of the cutover section, such as optical power and return loss value.
3) Check whether the laying of new optical cables is safe and reasonable, and test and confirm the parameters of optical cables.
4) Check the cutting equipment, tools and communication tools to ensure that various instruments and tools are used normally.
5) Check the cutover scheduling scheme on site to see if the cutover site has changed, and if the equipment in the machine room and the pigtail have changed.
6) The cutover team shall arrive at the cutover site 2 hours before cutover to make preparations, excavate the operation pit and joint pit, including checking the cut optical cable lines, taking site protection and various safety measures, and stripping new optical cables. For directly buried optical cables, route detectors shall be used to detect the specific location and burial depth. Check the reserved optical cable for overhead optical cable. Check and place the connecting tools, and check whether the communication method is unblocked.
7) Each test team arrives at the site one hour in advance to confirm the position of ODF frame, mark the pigtails, and retest, check and register the spare fibers and dispatching fibers. Check the power supply and lighting of the machine room, contact the network management center and the cutting point, confirm that the contact tools are in good condition, and make all preparations.
8) Four hours before the cutover, all cutover personnel shall be convened to hold a special meeting with business cutover, to further report the operation steps of the cutover scheme, and to implement the availability of cutover personnel, vehicles, instruments and machines and the matters needing attention in the cutover.
